Back to Mother Den-ing

After budget cuts cut CHILL down to 3 nights a week we were not left with a lot of options to have tutoring and snowboarding at school. We were able to work it out but at the cost the cost of leaving my sweet wife to wrangle the lil' cubbie scouts all by her lonesome. Somewhat good for me, free time on the mountain with some mediocre to good kids, not so good for the wife being ditched. Well back to Den Mom duties and what a week to come back. Pack them up in the car, give them some bags, slow down enough for them to roll out of the car, yell out some address numbers, and have them run from house to house placing the bags on the doors. Nothing better than cubbie scouts running wild in the streets, not looking for cars or anything else as they run in and out of the street. Excellent. Not real injuries. We had a couple trips but nothing major. Nothing that a dipped cone couldn't fix.

The picture is of me waiting for the adventure to begin. Waiting to find the snipes, trying to read the tent instructions, and figure out if you dig the before or after you go? Hooray !
