Well it is Mother's Day Week End and Thus the Gardening Season Begins. Boy oh, boy was it in full swing at the nursery when we and the rest of the county went to get our plants and seeds. After many screaming children, multiple cart accidents (people hitting our cart, I was stationary), and wandering trying to figure out what and how many of it we wanted we made it out alive.

Here is what our plain front area now looks like with the addition of some flowers.

Here are our strawberries. Chilling and waiting for opportunity to be fruitful.

Herbs anyone? It is like multicultural day but with herbs all in one planter.

Now, what to the planters look like in there places, well here is a picture to give you a visual.

And finally the big dog. The one that was the grumpiest to put together because even with stakes and lines and levels the bricks keep wandering off line. It is full on dirt, tilled, watered, seeded, and now hoping that it will grow.

Our first attempt at a garden is under way. Grow, grow, grow. Wait . . . grow, grow, grow.
